MENU MARKER - Version 1.0 Menu Marker is a Windows Terminal add-on that enables you to access any menu item or keyword by clicking on it with the mouse. It also includes a text editor suitable for mail and forum messages. The editor has word wrap, but sends the text to the remote computer with a maximum line length of 76 characters, each ended by a RETURN. Complete instructions are in the file HOW-TO.TXT and help screens. ->-> This program requires that you have the file VBRUN300.DLL in your Windows System directory. You will need VBRUN300.DLL even to run the setup. It is commonly available on most on-line services. It is a large file so check to see if you already have it. To install, you must be in Windows. Using File Manager, run the program called SETUP.EXE by double-clicking on it. The Setup routine will ask you for the name of the Terminal settings file; this is the file that contains the phone number, emulation mode, baud rate, etc. and usually has the extension .TRM, such as DELPHI.TRM. If this file is not in your windows directory, use the full path name, e.g., C:\ONLINE\DELPHI.TRM. In addition to the program (MNU-MRKR.EXE), the Setup installs the instructions (HOW-TO.TXT), a sample signature (SIGNATUR.TXT), and the registration form. Please register the program. Registrants will be notified of updates. Your comments and suggestions are welcome. CHANGING THE PROGRAM ITEM The Setup creates a program item that you can use, move to another group, or modify. The program is invoked with the command MNU-MRKR, followed by whatever settings file (.TRM file) you want to use. If you don't specify a .TRM file, MENU MARKER starts up with Terminal with nothing set. MENU MARKER looks for the .TRM file in your Windows directory; if that's not where you put it, use the full path name in the command. For example, mnu-mrkr c:\on-line\delphi.trm starts MENU MARKER with the settings file DELPHI.TRM located in the directory C:\ON-LINE.
